Esla has released its quarterly results for the following quarters of 2023 q1 2023 Tesla reported net income of 2.51 billion dollars on revenue of 23.33 billion dollars this was a 74 increase in revenue and a 20 decrease in net income from the same quarter of the previous year Q2 2023 Tesla reported net income of 2.27 billion dollars on revenue of 16.93 billion dollars this was a 27 decrease in revenue and a 12 percent decrease in net income from the same quarter of the previous year the decrease in revenue and net income in the second quarter was due to a number of factors including the ongoing chip shortage the covid-19 lockdown in Shanghai and the war in Ukraine despite these challenges Tesla still delivered 254 695 vehicles in the second quarter an increase of 27 from the same quarter of the previous year Tesla is expected to release its quarterly results for the third quarter of 2023 on October 20th 2023 analysts are expecting Tesla to report revenue of 29.5 billion dollars and net income of 2.7 billion dollars for the third quarter
