Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is calling on the Food and Drug Administration to investigate Prime energy drinks the beverage was launched by YouTube influencers Logan Paul and KSI last year it's become popular amongst teens lawmakers and health experts though are concerned about prime because the drinks contain 200 milligrams of caffeine per 12 ounce serving it's as much caffeine as six cans of Coca-Cola and is potentially dangerous to Young consumers Schumer voiced his concerns about the product at a press conference in New York we're here today for two reasons one is to issue a public warning to parents about this New Sensation crime and second to ask the FDA the Federal Drug Administration to step in and investigate one of the Summer's hottest beverages for kids what is spokesperson for Prime is defending the product saying it is clearly labeled not recommended for children under 18.
