strongly encourage people around the world to post news about events as are happening both text and video Elon has really been driving uh users to encourage to share their own conversations he has admitted that he doesn't necessarily always read news articles but that tweet in August he said that this change is coming from him and he said this will greatly improve the Aesthetics couldn't disagree more really it makes the I mean they haven't really made a positive change to what was Twitter and is now X really since Ian took over and this is just another version of that now in case you headline they're less likely to go to the news organization's website if somebody on X instead adds their own commentary and puts a link I think this is an improvement not for the bottom line of news outlets but as we know the fake news aka the hate stream media is soon to be extinct anyway so who gives a pretty clear why this has been done to encourage people to add their own commentary and to keep more people on X as opposed to leaving X this is in X's best interest and it looks nicer this will also heavily disincentivize people from just sharing links with zero commentary it's going to improve the user experience on X a lot more they're supposed to work together not be taken out of context to just have random photos I just don't understand what the point is yeah I don't either I know it's the aesthetically pleasing side of things but it feels like with all the issues at Twitter this isn't number one on the list I mean advertisers that still a really big thing that Twitter needs to work on getting back uh which you know at the moment they're struggling on the ad side not true last I recall over 80% of the major advertisers are already back on X sure they're still 20%
